Are Evolving Skies, Hidden Fates and older Pokémon sets worth buying in 2026?
Older Pokémon TCG sets are no longer printed in large numbers, so sealed product gets harder to find each year. Here's why these ones stay popular.
Evolving Skies (Sword & Shield, 2021)
One of the most loved modern sets. It's built around Rayquaza VMAX and a full lineup of Eevee evolutions as Pokémon V and VMAX, plus Dragonite V, Noivern V and Duraludon VMAX. The expansion has over 200 cards, and each pack holds 10 cards and 1 Basic Energy.
Hidden Fates (2019)
A special set known for its shiny Pokémon. The Elite Trainer Box includes 10 booster packs and a full-art Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno-GX promo.
Sun & Moon era: Celestial Storm and Cosmic Eclipse
Celestial Storm (2018) features Rayquaza on its sleeves, and Cosmic Eclipse (2019) is the final Sun & Moon set, with Arceus & Dialga & Palkia. The original Sun & Moon Elite Trainer Boxes come in Solgaleo and Lunala versions.

- Check the seal. Look for tight factory wrap with no tears or re-wrapping.
- Buy from sellers who show the real box. Ask for photos if you're unsure.
- Think about storage. Keep boxes out of sunlight and damp if you plan to hold them.
- Prices can change. Older sets don't follow MSRP. Prices rise and fall with demand, so buy what you want to open or keep.
Our older Elite Trainer Boxes are sold at a flat price under Wholesale (minimum 10, mix and match). Booster boxes are in the Pokémon section.
