Both versions contain the same sets, but the boxes are built differently. Here's what actually changes, so you can pick the right one.
A Japanese One Piece booster box holds 24 packs of 6 cards, so 144 cards. An English booster box holds 24 packs of 12 cards, so 288 cards. That's why English boxes cost more: you get twice as many cards.

For years, English sets came out several months after the Japanese version. Recent sets are much closer: EB-05 Heroines Edition vol.2 releases in English one day before Japanese, and OP-18 The Dominance of God releases in English on 20 November 2026, one day before Japan.
