One Piece Card Game starter decks ST-31 to ST-36: which one to buy

Bandai released six new English starter decks on 31 July 2026, one for each colour, and all at the same MSRP of $11.99. Here's how they compare, and which one suits you.

What's in every starter deck

• A ready-to-play 51-card constructed deck
• 10 DON!! cards
• A playsheet
• A bonus OP-16 The Time of Battle booster pack

Every deck is tournament legal straight out of the box, and each one includes its Leader card, so it's also a cheap way to get a Leader for your own build.

The six decks at a glance

Deck	Leader	Play style
ST-31 Red	Monkey.D.Luffy	Attaches rested DON!! to your Characters to power up attacks
ST-32 Green	Roronoa Zoro	Green, the colour known for resting your opponent's cards
ST-33 Blue	Kuzan	Turns discarding cards into extra card draw
ST-34 Purple	Charlotte Katakuri	Purple Big Mom Pirates, the colour built around DON!! management
ST-35 Red/Black	Sabo	Leader effect powers up all of your Characters
ST-36 Yellow	Eustass "Captain" Kid	Lets any Character quickly become a Blocker

Which deck should you buy?

• Brand new to the game: ST-31 Luffy. Red is the most straightforward colour to learn: attack, power up, repeat.
• Like defending and controlling the game: ST-36 Kid, whose Blocker effect makes the deck sturdy, or ST-32 Zoro.
• Like drawing cards and combos: ST-33 Kuzan.
• Want an aggressive two-colour deck: ST-35 Sabo.
• Fan of the Big Mom Pirates: ST-34 Katakuri.
• Playing with friends or a group: a 6-deck display gives everyone a deck, and two players can each pick a different colour.
